

My First Medical Mission Trip to Kenya
Ever since I became a nurse I’ve wanted to do a medical mission. In fact, it was one of the reasons I went into the medical field. I wanted to save the world but instead, I ended up in LA working at UCLA. Go figure! Had anyone told me I would have to wait 30 years to achieve my dream, I wouldn’t have believed it, but that’s exactly what happened. 2013: Jigger Outreach in Kenya
MMK’s trip this year was OUTSTANDING!!!! It was full of surprises- laughter, joy, sadness and occasional tears here and there. The team was diverse and from many professional fields.
