We Have the Dates, MMK 2024 Medical Trip Announcement
I am excited to announce the dates for our summer 2024 medical mission trip to Kenya. As the first trip post Covid pandemic, we are itching to hit the rugged Kenyan roads for basic healthcare delivery. With 2 to 3 different locations proposed, this trip promises to be audacious in its efforts to provide free health care services to underserved marginalized Kenyan communities. The medical mission trip will take place during a two-week period of June 15th, 2024 - June 29th, 2024 (an African safari is included in the trip). Our medical and dental clinics will provide free healthcare and health education to more than 6000 people who live in areas where healthcare is either limited or just not available. According to Healthcare Volunteer, there are over 1.3 billion people in the world with no access to basic healthcare services. With every trip, MMK strives to fill some of these gaps and create micro- system level changes through partnership with local communities and clinicians in a shared vision of improving health outcomes. MMK mobilizes medical volunteers to lend their services during two-week medical missions to Kenya. MMK was founded to help the people of Kenya by combating hunger, improving health, and promoting health education, one village at a time.
